1.Introduction of steel grating:

Steel grating is extremely versatile and can be used in a wide range of applications. Our metal gratings are manufactured from a special fully-killed steel that meets the requirements of good weldability and high load-bearing capacity.

2.Basic terms of steel grating:

A)Bearing bars: Equally rolled flat bar to bear the main load

B)Cross bars: The erung squre steel ( also called twisted steel ) or round bar which is

orthogonalized with the bearing flat bars, the cross section shall not be less than

20mm2.

C)End bars: Finishing bar of same section as the bearing bar welded across the ends of

the bearing bars also around cutouts and notches where these occur.

D)Action of bars:The bars used to secure the position of the bearing bars are commonly designated as the cross

bars. Cross bar profiles vary according to the method of assembly and material selected. As with bearing bars,
