There is basically no free graphite in the matrix structure of the working layer of the roll body, so it has high hardness and excellent wear resistance.
This kind of material can be used to produce large size rolls by static compound casting process, which makes the roll body have high hardness and the roll neck have high strength and toughness, showing good thermal stability and accident resistance.
