α-Pyrrolidone is colorless and high boiling point polar solvent and also is organic synthesis intermediates.
It is mainly applied as the solvent of synthetic resin, agricultural pesticide, polyhydricalcohol, printing ink, sulphur and it is the raw material of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyamide-4 and piracetam.
