Product Description
HEC is a kind of non-ionic water-soluble polymer, white or yellowish flowing powder, no odor & taste. It is soluble
in both hot and cool water, and dissolves faster with the rise in temperature. It is usually insoluble in most organic
solvents. HEC has good pH stability and its viscosity varies little within pH 2-12. HEC offers high salt-resistance
and moisture absorption ability. Its water solution has surfactant ability and high viscosity HEC owns high
plasticity. Its water-soluble film is colorless, transparent, with medium strength that is hard to be polluted and
affected by light. HEC after surface treatment can be dispersed in water and will not conglomerate. However, it
dissolves slowly in water. Faster dissolving may be achieved by adjusting pH to 8-10.
