XPS foam board

Termofoam® is a rigid, high performance insulation panel of extruded polystyrene foam. It offers a smooth surface and a closed-cell structure, due to its manufacturing process it provides high thermal efficiency, superior to other types of thermal insulators without losing its long term thermal qualities. Termofoam® is manufactured with different, highly resistant compressive strengths in order to satisfy any project: 40lb/in2, 60lb/in2.

Termofoam® has a long list of successes, especially in applications where there is a wide range of moisture. For example, cold storage rooms, warehouses, poultry and porcine farms. Polymer foam is the best type of insulation in cases of extreme moisture or where there are continuous freezing and thawing cycles, on the other hand, polyurethane is not recommended in cases of high humidity because it absorbs water.

Termofoam® products are manufactured in a variety of resistance to compression: 40 psi, 60 psi and 100 psi, to satisfy the requirements of the projects. Termofoam® products have a balance between its thermal and mechanical properties which only occur in closed cell insulation.

APPLICATIONS:
Thanks to its excellent properties, Termofoam® is used in a great variety of applications; it adapts to most construction systems such as walls, roofs and floors. It is compatible with:
• Traditional construction systems of plasterboard, chipboards, cement boards and metal faced panels etc
• It is effectively used in floors to withstand weight under slabs.
• It is adaptable to all types of cold storage insulating needs, including floors, walls and roofs
• It is suitable for use in any type of roof deck, including steel and concrete, in conjunction with single-ply
.......roofing membranes, modified bitumen roofing and tar and gravel roofs
• Ideal for refrigerated vehicles where strength and thermal performance are important.
• Compatible with all types of steel deck of roof assemblies.
