PLD-S3066 is a stand-alone Skype DECT phone that allows users to access both the PSTN and Skype network. The PC-Less Skype DECT is implemented with an embedded Skype software, which incorporates most of the Skype features such as Voicemail, call forwarding and Skype-In/Skype-Out services
There is no need to have the Skype application running on a PC (No PC is required make Skype calls). Once the base station is connected to the Internet, the handset will become an embedded Skype device, and the user can make Skype-to-Skype calls, or Skype In/Out calls with fixed-line numbers.
The Skype user contact list is shown on a 1.5” colour handset screen. The users can easily see their contacts’ status and profiles, as well as their Skype credit balances for SkypeOut. New users can be added on the handset.
