Product Description
ULTEM™ Resin HU1010 is an amorphous, transparent and biocompatible polyetherimide (PEI) grade. Is EtO and steam sterilizable and offers high flow, excellent dimensional stability and easy processability with low toxicity and smoke evolution. Provides long-term heat resistance and stability of physical and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures with high stiffness and strength up to 200 ®C. Retains strength and resists stress cracking when exposed to automotive, aircraft and hydrolytic fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and weak aqueous solutions. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used for medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. Is UL rated, 94V0 and 5VA. Complies with ISO 10993 or USP Class VI, FDA and RoHS regulations.
