Product performance:
1. High abrasion resistance
UHMWPE ranks first for abrasion resistance in plastic line,even exceed some certain metals, it's abration resistance is proportionate to the molecular weight,molecular weight is higher, it's abration resistance is better.
2. Superior impact resistance
The impact strength of UHMWPE is at the top in all engineering plastics, the impact strength of UHMWPE is two times that of PC, ABS five times, POM and PBTP more than 10 times. The impact strength increase with the increase of molecular weight, reach maximum when the molecular weight of 2.2 million, and then gradually decreases with the molecular weight continued rise.
3.Self-lubricity
UHMWPE has excellent self-lubrication because it's very low friction coefficient (0.05-0.11). Under the condition of no lubrication,it's second only to the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)which has the best lubricity in plastics; When it is in the form of sliding or rotating, it's lubrication is better than steel and brass add lubricating oil.
4.Excellent chemical resistance
Uhmw-pe has excellent chemical resistance, in addition to the strong fluoride acid,at a certain temperature and the concentration range, it can resist corrosive medium(acid,alkali, salt)and organic medium (except Tea solvent).impregnated 30 days in 80 kinds of organic solvent , appearance without any abnormal phenomenon, physical properties are almost no change.
5. Impact energy absorption
UHMWPE has excellent impact energy absorption, impact energy absorption value is on the top of all plastics. Thus damping noise very well, has good silencing effect.
6. Healthy and non-toxic
UHMWPE health non-toxic, completely accords with the standard of Japanese health association, and get the approval of food and drug administration and agriculture department of the United States , can touch food and drug directly.
7. Non - adhesive
UHMWPE surface adsorption force is very weak, and its ability to resist adhesion is second only to PTEE,which has the best resist adhesion in plastics, so it's hard to adhere with other material.
8. Low water absorption
UHMWPE water absorption rate is low, generally less than 0.01%, only 1% of PA6, thus don't have to dry before processing.
