Description
Triptorelin is a form of therapy called an LHRH (luteinizing releasing) agonist. Triptorelin slows down the growth of prostate cancer cells by blocking a message from the brain telling the testicles to produce.

Triptorelin, a decapeptide,is a gonadotropin-releasing agonist (GnRH agonist) used as the acetate or pamoate salts. By causing constant stimulation of the pituitary, it decreases pituitary secretion of gonadotropins luteinizing and follicle stimulating . Like other GnRH agonists, triptorelin may be used in the treatment of responsive cancers

Usage:
Triptorelin is injected into the muscle.
Rotate the injection site. Do not inject into an area of skin that is red, hard, or bruised, or has scars or stretch marks.
Do not use triptorelin if it contains particles, is cloudy or discolored, or if the vial is cracked or damaged.
Do not reuse needles, syringes, or other materials. Ask your health care provider how to dispose of these materials after use.
