Liquid nitrogen container considerations
1) Since the temperature of liquid nitrogen is -196®C, protective measures should be taken during operation, such as wearing leather and cotton gloves. Do not expose naked hands. Strictly prevent liquid nitrogen splashing, causing frostbite on the skin or eyes.
2) Only use supporting bottle stoppers. Do not use other defective products instead.
3) Liquid nitrogen should not be filled too much, and do not allow the liquid level to be high enough to come into contact with the GRP neck tube.
4) If sudden abnormal increase in vapor loss is found, or if the metal surface on the upper part of the housing suddenly becomes frosted, use should be stopped immediately.
5) After the container is contaminated, it can be cleaned with purified water. The liquid nitrogen should be drained first, and then cleaned at room temperature. When cleaning the storage container, be careful not to install too much water (not more than one-third of the volume) to avoid damaging the container when dumping the sewage.
liquid nitrogen container common faults and troubleshooting
(I) Leakage at the valve of Tianchi liquid nitrogen container
Reason: It is caused by the tight sealing of the valve's pressure nut.
Remedy: Tighten with a wrench.
(II) Ice Blocking Occurs in Tianchi liquid nitrogen container
Reason: After the water in the air at the supercharger coil or the discharge pipe enters the container, it has not been fully discharged and has condensed into ice at a low temperature.
Remedy: Fill the container with nitrogen gas from a nitrogen bottle. When the pressure inside the container rises to a certain pressure, empty the liquid inside the container; then use hot nitrogen or dry hot air to blow off the blocked pipe. Blow and discharge the ice. Close all valves.
Note: Liquid nitrogen is at minus 196 degrees. If a liquid nitrogen container containing liquid nitrogen leaks, the following consequences will result:
Leakage of the first small amount of liquid nitrogen can cause frostbite
The second large amount of leakage of liquid nitrogen causes the oxygen content of the surrounding environment to be low, which will suffocate people. If the air is in contact with a large area, the harm is relatively small, but if the air is confined, the consequences can be imagined.
