3,3ÿ? 5.5ÿ?teramethyl benzidine (TMB) is a new safe chromogen reagent. Compared with traditional reagents benzidine, o-tolidine, o-phenylenediamine and etc, TMB has higher detection sensitivity, stability and safety. The animal experiments and Amens bacterial tests show that TMB is non-carcinogenic and non-mutagenic. At present, TMB has been gradually replacing carcinogenic benzidine and other carcinogenic benzidine ramification.

The main applications of TMB are as follows:
