TD Pre-Insulated Aluminum Duct Introduction

TD Pre-Insulated Aluminum Ducts is developed specially for the air distribution in HVAC applications. Presently we have got two major categories of TD Pre-Insulated duct panel as PUR & PIR.

TD PUR PANEL is a sandwich panel composed of a layer base from good fire retardant rigid polyurethane foam covering both sides with coated and epoxy aluminum foil. Polyurethane foam has a good chemically and thermally stability and aluminum foil guarantees sturdiness and withstand corrosion in long-term use. We got the certificate for our PUR Panel in Australia; it is approved by third party in Australia as per AS/NZS 1530.3-1999.the methods for fire tests on building materials, components and structures - Simultaneous determination of ignitability, flame propagation, heat release and smoke release. We are manufacturing based on it. The general standard as below

Advantages
The thickness of our aluminum tape is 80micron, with glue which ensure a excellent adhesive and anti bacterial coating which give an additional protection and harmless; no moulds, viruses and bacteria grow on its surface

Our fire retardant is B1, normally PU panel can not reach B1 level

Excellent, constant thermal insulation thanks to the high density polyurethane (52+/-2kg/m3). It ensure the insulation efficiency for whole ductwork and makes contribution to the energy saving.

Light weight, TD ducts weight 1.46kg/m2 compared to 9.8kg/m2 sheet metal duct. This results in easier installation and much lower handling costs because fewer people are required to install a ductwork section. Two individuals can quickly and easily install substantially sized ductwork sections fabricated from the TD duct panel. This is a kind of saving of human resource and labor cost. And the lightweight makes goods delivery more convenient and cost efficient.

Silent operation, vibration and reverberation are minimized, increasing system comfort.

Hygienic and does not absorb humidity.

Air tight seal, very low are leakage, the leakage test result is only 0.98m3/h.m2. It makes TD duct better in energy saving.

Simple and easy but highly productive fabrication and installation
Easy maintenance and modification can be performed on site, cut and gluing can be applied in any section of the ducts.
Excellent appearance and long lasting, life expectancy are 20 years.

PUR and PIR all belong to the same generic family of thermosetting materials. The general spec. of PIR and PUR is very close but our PIR is Green products because we use high standard blowing agent 245FA which bring our products had Zero ODP, which means free ozone depletion potential, is a standard to the circumstance friendly. Our raw material mostly come from Dow and Honeywell, both of factory have send letter assure the form is Zero ODP, Dow even write in their own news letter award our factory is first one successes to use 245FA in continues line in far ASAI area. Nowadays many countries and area like USA and Europe have taken free-Freon environmental technology as the laws and regulations, and set up technical barriers to restrict imports. Our PIR panel will break the barriers; it will help a lot on our TD promotion in worldwide market. On the other hand, with the strengthening of people's awareness to environmental, more and more projects have chosen to use a green product. TD PIR Panel will meet the requirements of the market.

At moment we have test our PIR board in our factory laboratory we got a result of test as below:
Flame retardant: Class 0
Thermal conductivity: 0.019W/m.C

This main point shows our PIR will have better performance than our Normal PUR as well its Green products. So we will going to have third party test in UL approval.
