Tapered roller bearings have tapered inner and outer ring raceways, between the inner and the outer ring raceways the tapered rollers are arranged. Tapered roller bearings are mainly used to accommodate a combination load of radial and axial directions, mainly carry radial load. The cone and the outer ring are separable and they are easy for mounting and dismounting. The axial load carrying capacity of the bearings is largely determined by the contact angle a, the larger the a, the higher the axial load carrying capacity. These bearings are extensively applied auto, transmissions, machine tool spindles, construction machinery, railway vehicles and roller-boxes of rolling mills.
