Star Metal Domes is a stainless steel normally open switch accessory , also known as : tactile metal domes , metal snap domes , tactile domes , dome switchs , click domes , snap domes and so on .
The star-shaped domes is similar to the cross-shaped domes , with four-legged support under the dome for a clear tactile feel and a variety of sizes and styles . Star domes are shaped switch contacts that were designed for mounting on single or double sided printed circuit boards , membranes switches , where traces can be fed under the domes on the same side of the board .
