Installation preparation
A.1 rubber bearing installation should set the bearing pad stone, bearing pad stone plane size should be according to the local pressure calculation, stone length, width should be higher than the corresponding size bearing an increase of at least about 50mm, its height should be more than 100mm, and should be considered for replacement when the top beam jack installation position.
A.2 bearing pad stone should be arranged in the steel mesh, steel bar diameter of 8mm, spacing should be 50mm x 50mm, bridge pier, the platform should have the vertical reinforcement to the bearing pad stone, bearing pad stone concrete strength should not be less than C30.
A.3 bearing pad stone surface should be flat, clean, dry, no sand. Bearing pad stone top surface elevation accuracy required. In the case of flat slope, with a beam supported at both ends and the same pier pad stone, table pad stone should be in the same plane design elevation, the relative height should not over 1.5 mm, with a height of bearing pad stone should be less than 0.5 mm.


Bearing installation
B.1 support after entering, should check whether there are bearing the trademark of the manufacturer or permanent marker. When installed, should be in accordance with the requirements of design drawings, the bearing pad stone and support specified on the support position center line, to ensure the accurate positioning of bearing.
B.2 bearing installation, should prevent mount bias or have produced large initial shear deformation. After the installation is completed, must ensure that the bearing and on the lower part of the structure of close contact, there shall be no void phenomenon. On the formation of beam slab structure of the whole, should avoid the passage of heavy vehicles.
The design of B. 3 bridge pier should consider the maintenance support, need to be replaced. In any case, does not allow two or more than two bearings along the beam longitudinal center line on the same support mounted side by side on the same; beam (plate), transverse should not be set more than two bearings; bearing different specifications should not be installed side by side.
B. 4 supports after installation, should check whether there is leakage of comprehensive support, support installation direction, position (with embedded steel contact bearings, the position of the center line), bearing specifications is wrong, whether the removal of temporary fixed facilities, PTFE sliding bearings are injected into the silicone oil (lubricating oil instead of silicone oil is prohibited to use). The phenomenon, once discovered, should be timely adjustment and treatment, ensure the normal work of bearing after installation, and record the deviation and abnormal situation after the installation of the bearings.

 
Bridge bearing maintenance 
1), plate type rubber bearing should be regularly maintenance and maintenance inspection, once found the problem, should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
2), laminated rubber bearing and PTFE sliding bearing should check the following:
A: whether the emergence of the phenomenon of slip and void bearing;
B: the shear displacement of the bearing is too large (shear angle should not be more than 35 degrees);
C: the bearing is too large compression deformation; (maximum compression deformation is not more than 0.07te, te for the bearing of the rubber layer of the total thickness)
D: whether the bearing rubber protective layer is cracking, hardening and other aging phenomena, and record the position of the crack, the width and length of the crack;
E: the rubber sheet of each layer of the supporting plate is uniform and normal;
