SkyRC e450 LiPo/LiFe/LiHV/NiMH 50W Multi Chemistry Charger

For LiPo/LiFe/LiHV battery

Step 1: Select proper current and battery type;

Step 2: Connect the charging cable to the charger's main socket;

Step 3: Connect the battery to the charging cable;

Step 4: Connect the battery to the balance socket.

Charging starts automatically when above procedures are done, no extra button is required to click to initiate.

For NiMH/NiCd battery

Step 1: Select NiMH battery type and proper current (If you are charging a NiCd battery, you shoud also choose NiMH battery type)

Step 2: Connectthe charging cable to the charger's main socket

Step 3: Connect the battery to the charging cable.

After confirmation on the current and battery type, long press BATT TYPE button for around 3 seconds to initiate the charging.

Generally after the cables are connected correctly, the LED (the battery type you select) will flash alternate RED and GREEN for 3 times, and then enter into charging mode. During the charging mode, the LED (the battery type you select) will flash always in GREEN. When the charging finishes, the GREEN LED will always keep on, and does not flash any more.

If the charging cable is connected with wrong polarity, or wrong battery type is selected, it will not enter into charging mode smoothly, and all four LEDs will flash RED. When this happens, you must disconnect the charing, and check all the connections carefully and battery type you choose.

If you are charging a Lithium battery, but select NiMH battery, (with balance socket connected, four LEDs will flash RED)after disconnection, you must press BATT TYPE again to re-activate your charger, or e450 will keep flash in RED all the time.

If you are charging NiMH battery with Lithium battery type, no balance socket is connected, after long press BATT TYPE button, the charging will be initiated either. So before initiating, remember to select correct battery type to avoid potential risk.
