Silicon Nanoparticles is suitable for lithium battery electrode materials and have been shown to dramatically expand the storage capacity of lithium ion batteries without degrading the silicon during the expansion/contraction cycle that occurs as power is charged and discharged. Silicon has long been known to have an excellent affinity for storage of positively charged lithium cations making them ideal candidates for next generation lithium ion batteries. Now, we are cooperating with research organizations of China to research the silicon -coated graphite as the anode of lithium ion battery. The silicon-graphite composite anode materials can reduce the swelling when silicon absorbs lithium ion, and also can increase the affinity between silicon and electrolyte, easy to disperse, improve the performance of lithium ion circle.
