Self Lubricated Graphite Plugged Bronze Bearings / Bushings

Self Lubricating Graphite Plugged Bronze Bushings are great for applications where maintenance is difficult and where normal grease and oil based lubricants can burn off due to high temperatures. Graphite film from the graphite plug is transferred onto the shaft as it rotates and acts as lubricant even under high loads and low speeds. The cast bronze base material gives stronger bearing ability when compared to self lubricating bronze bushings. The applications for these bearings include construction equipment, transportation machinery mining equipment etc.

These bearings are machined out of cast bronze and plugged with graphite plugs. These bearings are available in cylindrical and flanged cylindrical shapes and machined to precision tolerances.
