Ihsan Sons (Pvt.) Ltd. went on-stream by setting up a garnetting unit in Karachi to manufacture shoddy from textile waste. Today 5 lines of Laroche and Schrip equipment produce about 6,300 tonnes of shoddy per annum. The Company's total production, besides processed cotton waste and comber noils, is exported.
During the first phase of diversification in 1985, Ihsan set up a Glove Knitting Unit with the installation of 150 computerised Japanese Shima Seiki machines + 7,10,13 gauge & Terry seamless. The unit initially produced plain knitted industrial and fashion gloves for the Japanese, German, Australian and U.K. markets. With the introduction of PVC equipment in 1996, Ihsan expanded its product range to meet international requirements for Dotted and Criss-cross gloves. Now total production capacity of 70,000 dozen pairs monthly. The company is continuously engaged in improving the quality of its products, with an aim to be the best in safety wear the world over. they deal in all kind of gloves , mops & other Accessories.
