SPLIT CINNAMON

The scientific name is Cinnamomum loureirii Nees. They camphor (Lauraceae). Tree, 10-20m high, cracked casing, distributed multi-armed body. Grows wild in the forest, or planted by seed, or I guess, after 5 years can harvest, but after 20-30 years cinnamon bark peeled the best. Cinnamon bark peeling in 4-5 months or 9-10 will be easier because this is the phase resin cinnamon. Cinnamon bark soaked take 1 day, washed and placed in sealed bamboo baskets, banana leaf compost around about 3-7 days and then removed to a cool place to dry.
Cinnamon is kind of woody, perennial. Can mature trees on the 15m high, can reach a diameter of 40cm. In parts like cinnamon bark, leaves, flowers, wood, roots contain essential oils, particularly in housing the highest oil content, sometimes up to 4-5%. Cinnamon is about 8 to 10 years old, started to flower, white or yellowish. Que on April flowering, fruit ripening in July 5 and 1.2 years later.
