Product Description
Slip on Flange is essentially a ring that is placed over the pipe end, with the flange face extending from the end of the pipe by enough distance to apply a weld bead on the inside diameter. Slip on flange may also be used a lap joint flanges if Type B or Type C stub ends are used. SIip-on flanges derives its name Slip-on as pipe slips in to the flange prior to welding as slip-on flanges are bored slightly larger than the outside diameter of the pipe. It becomes easy as a user to weld pipe both on inside and outside thereby he is assured of its durability i.e prevention of leakage in the long run.
