Round Domes is a stainless steel normally open switch accessory , also known as : tactile metal domes , metal snap domes , tactile domes , dome switchs , click domes , snap domes and so on .
Round Domes are circle shaped switch contacts that were designed for mounting on membrane circuitry . The domes are placed on a membrane switch by means of pressure sensitive adhesive tape . When they are pushed , the centers of the domes collapse past the flat plane and make contact with the secondary pathway , thereby closing the circuit .
