Latin Name: Trifolium pretense L.

Synonyms: red clover; cow clover; meadow clover; wild clover.

Botany: Red clover is a perennial plant that grows wild in the Americas, Europe, Australia, Asia, and northern Africa, have wild and cultivated in southern China, also the famous green plants and grass. The flower head, which ranges from pink to purple or red, is the part of the plant used in herbal remedies.

Description: Red clover is a source of many valuable nutrients including calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamine, and vitamin C.
