Product Description
Rain test chamber is a testing equipment to simulate rainy environment for specimens such as electronic products, electrical equipment, component and parts subjected to watering or spraying during the transportation and use, which is mainly intended to determine the primary waterproof performance.
The testing condition of IPX1 waterproof rating is that test piece is placed on the turntable with revolving speed at 1r/min, the distance between top of sample and dripping holes not more than 200mm, flow rate of water drops at 1or 1+0.5mm/min, lasting for 10 minutes.
In the case of IPX2, although it can share a same rain test chamber with IPX1 to carry out the test, specimen is placed on the rotary platform with a 15 degree tilt. The duration time of testing at each of 4 fixed positions with incline is 2.5 minutes respectively, distance within 200mm, total of 10 minutes, water flow rate 3 or 3+0.5mm/min.
