Product Description
This is two component liquid silicone rubber for medical product, such as negative pressure ball, catheter connector and all kinds of medical tube and other products. Liquid silicone is generally used in baby products and kitchen supplies as well as medical supplies. It is in direct contact with food and human body.
The safety of liquid silicone rubber is a food material with high transparency and high safety. It is not added with auxiliary materials such as vulcanizing agent during molding, and is sealed and molded.
Room temperature Food Grade liquid silicon rubber for molds
Room temperature liquid silicon rubber for molds is a kind of two parts silicone rubber in addition cure or platinum cure type with mixing ratio of 1:1 or 10:1. It can be cures at room temperature as well as under heat. It's a kind of food grade silicone rubber mainly used for mold making.
Operation Instructions
1: Prepare the desired molds
Prepare a desired mold and clean it before operation.
Notes: Make sure the desired molds and operation tools were cleaned up to avoid uncured problem.
( Suggest to use stainless steel, wooden or plastic material mixer. )
2: Take amount Part A :100 g / Part B :100 g ( or Part A : 100 g and Part B :10 g ) and mix evenly.
Notes:
1. Weigh the two part exactly by electronic weight. If any part not in exactly weight, it may cause changing of hardness, or even cause uncured problem.
2. Mix part A and part B evenly.
3: Vacuum the mixed material
Without exception, this step takes less than 10 minutes. Otherwise, it will cause cross linking reaction, and no more further steps will be available.
4: Pouring casting
Notes:
1. For simple mold, just to pour the vacuumed material into mold, cured will be 8-12 hours.
2.For fine designed mold, to brush the liquid silicone on mold surface then pour the silicone into mold. This will make the casing properly.
