TROVE2 (TROVE domain family member 2), also known as 60 kD Ro/SSA autoantigen, is an RNA binding protein that binds to several small cytoplasmic noncoding RNA molecules of unknown function known as Y RNAs. It may stabilize these RNAs from degradation. TROVE2 also binds misfolded 5S rRNA precursors suggesting it may function in a quality control pathway for ribosome biogenesis.
