Uses: Used to control public health insects (Blattodea, Culicidae, Muscidae).

MAMMALIAN TOXICOLOGY
Oral: Acute oral LD50 for male rats 640, female rats 460 mg/kg.
Skin and eye: Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats >5000 mg/kg. Non-irritating to the eyes and skin (rabbits). Not a skin sensitiser (guinea pigs).
Inhalation: LC50 (4 h) for rats 288-333 mg/m3.
Toxicity class: WHO (a.i.) II; EPA (formulation) III

ECOTOXICOLOGY
Birds: Acute oral LD50 for bobwhite quail 1171, mallard ducks >2000 mg/kg. Dietary LC50 for bobwhite quail and mallard ducks >5620 ppm.
Fish: LC50 (96 h) for rainbow trout 0.012, bluegill sunfish 0.022 mg/l.
Daphnia: EC50 (48 h) 0.0062 mg/l.
