Polyether polyols (polyethers) are synthesized by the addition of initiator (compounds containing active hydrogen groups) with ethylene oxide (EO), propylene oxide (PO), and butylene oxide (BO) in the presence of catalyst. The most productive polyether is glycerol (glycerol) as initiator and epoxide (PO and EO are usually used together)
