SPU-3170 laser for the slimline PS2 console brand new and comes with antistatic bridge on to prevent damage in transit but this bridge must be correctly desoldered. Too much heat can cause damage to the laser preventing it from working properly, so if your consoles have problems with dre/disc not spinning/no data then this could solve your problem and have your console up and running again.
