- The Glass Table lamp PH 3/2 is yet another example of the lights that Poul Henningsen designed, the often had such well-thought out form and functionality that they could serve both as table lamps, floor lamps and pendants, with only slight modifications. This lamp is part of Paul Henningsen’s PH 3 series.
- The lamp was designed in the winter of 1925-26, and is perhaps not quite as timeless as the models that would come later. Yet we can already discern what would go on to become the hallmarks of Henningsen's designs: the shades that reflect the light, making it softer and spreading it into the room. The design and placement of the shades is determined by a logarithmic spiral, with the light bulb as the spiral's focal point. This means that the light never dazzles.
