Product Description
Water Treatment Chemicals Polyacrylamide, PAM for short, is a water-soluble linear polymer material (-CH2CHCONH2-) formed from acrylamide subunits that can also be readily cross-linked. The PAM exists in the status of white powdery, easily soluble in water but almost insoluble in benzene, ether, lipids, acetone and other normal organic solvents. The aqueous solution containing PAM is nearly transparent viscous liquid and belong to Non-dangerous goods with non-toxicity and non-corrosive.
And also according to the ionic character, PMA can be classified as Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM), Anionic polyacrylamide (APAM), Non-ionic polyacrylamide (NPAM), Amphoteric polyacrylamide. And generally the CPAM is mainly used for water treatment, APAM for papermaking and Amphoteric polyacrylamide for sludge dewatering.
