Okuma Makaira Machined Aluminum Spinning Reels were designed using Okuma's 4D concept process and feature a machine-cut stainless steel main gear and forged machine-cut body, sideplates, and rotor. With 23 oil-retaining o-rings and gaskets, and sealed internal mechanisms, these spinning reels are protected from the harsh elements brought on by saltwater. Perfect for targeting big gamefish such as trevally, yellowtail, bluefin tuna, marlin, and even large sharks, Okuma Makaira Machined Aluminum Spinning Reels can handle nearly any situation with comfort and ease.
These reels feature fixed right or left hand retrieves, and are not interchangeable. Must choose R model for Right or L model for Left
