Thruster include Tunnel style thruster, Retractable type, Compact type, Schottel pump-jets thruster
Tunnel style thruster
1,TCT type thrusters utilize unique forward-skewed, controllable pitch propellers and have low vibration and noise. They use technology based on the XL type controllable pitch propellers and are simple to upkeep.
2,TFN type thrusters use fixed pitch propellers and are most cost efficient but not as responses as TCT type thrusters.
They generate thrust by altering the speed and direction of the propeller.
Retractable type
Mage by SCHOTTEL , this type of thruster can be retracted into the vessel to improve hydrodynamics when not in use. During deployment , it can be rotated 360 degrees to generate thrust.
