6-a, NAP - Nakashima advaced Pod-propeller
The NAP propulsion system is an electrical L-drive propulsion system technology of the XL type controllable pitch propeller. Created by Nakashima, NAP is both inexpensive and highly reliable.
6-b, SCHOTTEL Rudderpropellers
Imported from the Schottel company in Germany, this rudder propeller combination can rotate 360 degrees allowing utmost maneuverability for the host craft.
6-c, SCHOTTEL Pump-jets
The Schottel pump jet uses a rotatable water jet instead of a propeller for propulsion. Because this system can generate enormous power and does not require ballast time, it is widely used in transport ships, passenger ferries and fishing boats.

Nakashima has partnered up with the Ebara company to form Nakashima-Ebara Water Jet, the world's largest pump maker for water jets. Water jets are most suitable for high speed vessels and are imported from the Castoldi company in Italy.
