Character:The product is a colorless clear liquid.
Indications:
1.Tissue dehydrator. It is used to treat brain edema caused by various reasons, reduce intracranial pressure and prevent brain hernia.
2.Lower intraocular pressure. Effective in lowering intraocular pressure and should be used when other intraocular pressure lowering agents are ineffective or when prepared before intraocular surgery.
3.Penetrating diuretics. It is used to identify oliguria caused by pre-renal factors or acute renal failure. It can also be used to prevent acute tubular necrosis caused by various reasons.
4.As an auxiliary diuretic measure to treat nephrotic syndrome, cirrhosis ascites, especially when accompanied by hypoproteinemia.
5.For overdose of some drugs or toxicosis (such as barbiturates, lithium, salicylate and bromide), this drug can promote the excretion of the above substances and prevent nephrotoxicity.
6.It is used as irrigating agent for transurethral prostatectomy.
7.Preoperative bowel preparation.
Taboo:
1.The patients with anuria who have been diagnosed as acute renal tubular necrosis, including those who do not respond to mannitol, have increased blood volume due to mannitol accumulation, which aggravates the heart burden;
2.Serious water loss;
3.In patients with active intracranial hemorrhage, the hemorrhage is aggravated by volume expansion, except for intracranial surgery;
4.Acute pulmonary edema, or severe pulmonary congestion.
Overdose:
Gastric lavage, support and symptomatic treatment should be carried out as soon as possible, and blood pressure, electrolyte and renal function should be closely followed up.
