The Vortex Shedding Flowmeter is based on Karman Vortex Street principle, the release frequency and the flow velocity of Karman Vortex Street is in direct proportion with each other, so by measuring the release frequency of Karman Vortex Street, we can calculate instantaneous flow.
1) Adopts low-power CPU and LCD display for low power dissipation.
2) Easy installation, very convenient maintenance, and its re-testing period is long, about 2 years in general.
3) The structure is simple and firm without moveable parts and the long-term operation is very reliable.
4) Wide measuring range: Normal range: 1: 10 and the measuring range ratio can reach 1: 15.
5) Small pressure loss, low operation expense, which has more significance in energy conservation.
6) Within a certain range of Reynolds number, the output signal will not be impacted by the changes of physical property and component of measured media, and the instrument coefficient is only related to the shape and dimension of vortex shedder. There is no need to re-calibrate the instrument coefficient after exchanging accessories.
7) Either onsite display or remote transmission is enabled, and it can also connect with the computer control system.
8) The detection probe will not directly contact the measured media so the performance is very stable.
9) With temperature and pressure compensation integrated design, the output signals are all optoelectronic isolated and have good anti-common-mode interference property.
