Properties: .It is white granular. It is easily soluble in water and aqueous ammonia ; while it is slightly dissolved in methanol, alcohol, and solvent ether. In addition, it shows strong hydroscopic property.
Uses: it is mostly used in manufacturing nitro-compound, Potassium nitrate , azo dyestuff, dye mordant in textile coloration, bleaching agent, metal heat treatment auxiliary agent, and antispetic in pharmaceutical industry
