Korean Red Ginseng Root

Korean red ginseng is a type of processed fresh ginseng 4~6 years old.
The ginseng is uprooted after 4~6 years of growing and then is called korean fresh ginseng,and the dried korean fresh ginseng is called korean white ginseng, red ginseng is hot-steamed, dried for the purpose of long-term storing, through the steaming and drying process.
It is moisture rate is reduced to 14%.
Fresh raw ginseng was carefully selected, washed thoroughly with underground water,steamed, sunshine dried and pressed into a wooden-made pine tree box therefore, it can be stored as long as 10 years without changing its active ingredients and losing its pharmacological activity.
It has upright figure and can be divided into heaven ginseng (the 1st grade), earth ginseng(the 2nd grade) and good ginseng (the 3rd grade)depending upon the quality.
