Product Description
A humectant is a hygroscopic substance. When used as a food additive, the humectant has the effect of keeping the foodstuff moist. Humectants are sometimes used as a component of antistatic coatings for plastics. Humectants are also found in many cosmetic products where moisturization is desired, including treatments such as moisturizing hair conditioners and also commonly used in body lotions. Humectants are also used in the manufacture of some cigarettes and other tobacco products.

Range of our products includes:

• Glycerine
• Propylene Glycol
• Lactic Acid

Glycerine

Glycerol is a chemical compound also commonly called glycerin or glycerine. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid. n foods and beverages, glycerol serves as a humectant, solvent and sweetener, and may help preserve foods. It is also used as filler in commercially prepared low-fat foods (e.g., cookies), and as a thickening agent in liqueurs.

Glycerine offered by us is a clear, colorless, viscous liquid that finds application in industries like pharmaceuticals, toothpaste, tobacco, alkyd resin, chewing gum, soap, cosmetics and food.

Our process expertise also allow us to deliver these in specifications as desired by the clients.

Propylene Glycol

Propylene glycol, known also by the systematic name propane-1,2-diol, is an organic compound (a diol alcohol), usually a faintly sweet, and colorless clear viscous liquid that is hygroscopic and miscible with water, acetone, and chloroform.

We offer superior quality propylene glycol to our clients is a tasteless, odorless and colorless oily liquid, which is miscible with water, acetone and chloroform. It is usually produced by propylene oxide hydration in industries. Some of the features of the chemical include:

• Used as a moisturizer in medicines, cosmetics, food, toothpaste, mouth wash, and tobacco products
• Used as solvent for food colors and flavorings
• As a less-toxic antifreeze
• In smoke machines to make artificial smoke
• In hand sanitizers, antibacterial lotions, and saline solutions
• As a working fluid in hydraulic presses

Lactic Acid

We provide Lactic Acid (80 & 90%) which is a colorless clarifying ropy liquid and has a sour flavor. It contains a hygroscopicity and optics activation property and can be dissolved with water, ethanol or ether, but undissolved in chloroform.
Lactic acid is primarily found in sour milk products, such as: koumiss, leban, yogurt, kefir, and some cottage cheeses. The casein in fermented milk is coagulated (curdled) by lactic acid.
Although it can be fermented from lactose (milk sugar), most commercially used lactic acid is derived by using bacteria such as Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, or Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus to ferment carbohydrates from nondairy sources such as cornstarch, potatoes, and molasses. Thus, although it is commonly known as
