AcceGen human breast tumor cancer cells are isolated from human breast carcinoma lobular infiltrating sample. Cells are cryopreserved at passage 2 and delivered on dry ice. Each vial contains at least 1×10^6 cells in 1 ml volume. Breast tumor cells are characterized with epithelial morphology. Human breast cancer cell culture is detected to positively express pan-Cytokeratin, MGB-1 and MUC-1 by immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry. Cells are not detected with HIV-1, HBV, HCV and other pathogens. Due to lot variability, donor age or disease status may differ. Please contact our friendly team to get an update on the donor lot information. Key features -Backed by AcceGen advanced technology -Cryopreserved for highest viability and plating efficiency -Quality-tested for accurate results |

Product Description
Breast cancer arises in the lining cells of ducts or lobes in breast’s glandular tissue and is considered one of the most prevalent cancer in women around the world. Breast cancer cells are biologically and physically heterogenous populations that can be characterised into different categories. Such heterogenicity can be detected by gene expression profiling and immunohistochemical expression of predictive maker oestrogen receptor (ER), epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) or progesterone receptor (PR). Primary breast cancer cells represent a more biorelevant model of a breast tumor in vivo in terms of retained tumor phenotype, cellular markers, growth characteristics and more histopathological types. Applications
-Provide an excellent in vitro model for studying molecular profiling, metabolic mechanisms, and relevant characteristics of breast cancer.
-Serve as transfection host for various research purpose.
-Cytotoxicity or efficacy assessment of drugs targeting breast cancer cell markers.
-Provide novel insight into drug development, as well as clinical detection and treatment on breast cancer.
