Product Description
HOSTAFORM¬ S 9243 XAP™ LS 10/1570 is a rigid, heavy-metal free, impact modified, elastomer-containing POM (polyoxymethylene) copolymer grade. Exhibits slightly lower hardness, good welding strength, outstanding chemical (solvents, fuels & strong alkalis)-, hydrolysis-, fatigue-, creep-, moisture- and stress cracking resistance. Also exhibits toughness (up to -40®C), good heat distortion temperature (up to 100®C), very good slip/ wear properties, excellent resilience, low moisture absorption and higher stability to thermal and oxidative degradation compared to acetal homopolymers. Also shows reduced emission and easy colorization. It can be processed by injection molding.
