Q:Can you describe about the spherical  type rubber bearing?
A:The spherical  type rubber bearing is round plate rubber bearing improved.The force at the end of beam by the spherical surface of the rubber layers below gradually spread to steel plate and rubber layer.At the bottom of the rubber bearing with a circle of diameter 2.5mm is a semi circular rubber ring,to adjust the stress condition of the bottom surface and to improve or avoid bearing the bottom surface of the void phenomenon,in order to make the bearing bottom surface be uniform.

Q:What are the types of Spherical Bearings?
A:Similar to pot bearing, spherical bridge bearings are available in fixed type,
guided type and free sliding types .
1. Fixed type bearing only allows for rotations, any longitudinal or transversal
movement is restrained.
2.Guided type has edge steel guide to accommodate unidirectional movements.
3.Free sliding type bearing can slid in all directions.

Q:What are the feartures of Spherical Bearings?
A:The following are the feartures of  Spherical Bearings:
1.Allows for large displacement.
2.Accommodate larger rotations than pot bearing in excess of +/- 0.03 radians.
3.Unlimited movement capability in any directions.
4.Excellent self-alignment capability.
5.Minimum sliding friction coefficient.
6.Dimpled PTFE disc is fitted in 1/2 depth of the concave steel plate for higher load
bearing capacity.
7.PTEF disc with cavities for containing lubricant to reduce sliding friction.

Q:Can you tell me the installation details of the spherical type rubber bearing?
A: The details are the following :
1.This series of bearing, bridge girder and pier, concrete grade is not less than 300.Special circumstances shall be subject to the consent of the design unit.
2.Support and beam body and pier are connected with embedded bolts or pre embedded steel plate. But when the bearing and girder and piers embedded steel plate welding,prevent overheating of the bearing steel.
3.Bearing installation elevation shall conform to the design requirements.Ensure bearing surface horizontal,and a supporting surface of four angular height shall not exceed 2mm.
4.After the support approach,check packing list,Including parts list, bearing products certificate, bearing installation and maintenance rules, etc.
5.Bearing installation should pay attention to the following matters:
A:The bearing center line should be parallel to the main beam center line.
B:The center line of the upper support plate along the bridge direction and the center line of the lower support plate along the bridge direction should be coincident,which angle should not exceed 5 'rad.
C:When the supporting seat is installed, the upper and the lower support connecting plates are not loosened,to prevent the support from turning over a large corner.The connecting plate is removed after the beam body is installed,in order to prevent the normal rotation of the beam body.
D:Removal of upper and lower support connecting plate,then SX and DX should be installed in a timely manner to the rubber dust cover.
E:When the cast in place concrete beam is injected into the whole,remove connecting plate.
F:Before installing the coaming,clean the stainless steel sliding surface carefully with the cotton thread,in order to prevent the dust from invading the surface of PTFE.
G:Add paint for paint off part of bearing steel parts.
6.Inspection and maintenance should be carried out regularly every year during the use of the bearing.
