Coating Weight The weight of Zinc-coated on chain link fence fabric conforms to ASTM A392, available in two coating weight classes as follows (List of data is the minimum value): Class 1—1.2 oz/ft2 (366 g/m2).Class 2—2.0 oz/ft2 (610 g/m2).Mesh sizes3/8" to 2-3/8".Available heights18" to 240".Matters need attentionGenerally, chain link fence fabric woven with a 2" mesh and 60" or less in height is knuckled at both selvages. For fabrics 72" and taller, the selvage is knuckled at one edge and twisted at the other. All fabrics woven into mesh sizes under 2" are knuckled at both selvages. |

Product Description
All galvanized chain link fences at Walcoom are made from the woven and interlocking steel wire with premium quality. The hot-dipped galvanizing process ensures a fully protective zinc coating on all surfaces of the chain link, even the cut ends. There are two ways for chain link fabric galvanization: Galvanized After Weaving (GAW) and Galvanized Before Weaving (GBW). GAW is more popular as it ensures that all the wires of the fabric are coated, including the cut ends, and GBW eliminates burrs and sharp surfaces and increases the tensile strength of the fence.
