The four rows of rollers lends itself to carry large radial loads, but no thrust capacity, for the given bearing cross section. Four row cylindrical roller bearings are separable, the rings and rolling elements could be separated, it is convenient to wash, check, mount and dismount. Four-row cylindrical roller bearing can only bear radial load; therefore, they must be installed with groove ball bearings or angular contact ball bearings, it will be the latter which bear the axial load.
