Fire Resistant Glass

Individual sheet fire resistant glass is a special glass playing function of fire retardant. It is made of float glass through physical and chemical procession, mainly used in curtain wall, door and window. It allows a certain of time before explosion and effectively prevent from spreading of flame and smog. As it maintains transparency state during fire, it is helpful for discovery of fire and enable people to have enough time to evacuate.

 Main function
Individual fire resistant glass
1. High intensity: with the same thickness, the intensity of fire resistant glass is 6 times as plain float glass, and 1.5 times as tempered glass.
2. Machinability: can be processed to film coated glass, laminated glass, insulating glass while multi function of decoration, elegant appearance, security and fire-resistant.
3. Fire resistance rating: meet the requirement of fire integrity but not meet the requirement of heat insulation and prevention from heat radiant intensity.
4. Light weight: individual sheet fire resistant glass is far less heavy than compound fire resistant glass with the same square, thus is good for delivery and installation.
Compound fire resistant glass
1. Fire resistance rating: meet the requirement of fire integrity as well as heat insulation and prevention from heat radiant intensity.
2. Can prevent spreading of flame and smog in great time interval while stop big volume of heat transferring but would not transparent when fire on.
3. Weak intensity, heavy weight, not suitable for delivery and installation.

 Application
Individual fire resistant glass
Solo sheet fire resistant glass is with good machinability, can be processed into laminated, coated glass etc, mostly for outdoor architecture.
Compound fire resistant glass
Compound fire resistant glass is mainly applied in indoor fire resistance and indoor fire insulation and surviving channel.
Compound fire resistant glass normally could not undertake secondary procession and the design measure of area can not be too large.
