Zhongyi reinforced plastic covers are chemically and structurally engineered with the proper balance of resin and glass to resist a wide range of acids, alkalis and solvents as well as weathering, spillage and corrosive fumes. In addition to their resistance to internal corrosion, pitting and scaling, Zhongyi covers are immune to virtually all external corrosion, will not rust and never require any form of cathodic protection.
FRP lids and covers are manufactured in moulded sections from premium quality polyester and vinyl ester resins and are designed to meet each customers specific strength and serviceability requirements
The natural corrosion resistance of FRP meets the demanding environmental conditions by resisting structural damage from chemical corrosion and thus significantly reducing maintenance and operating costs. The lightweight and versatile nature permits complex shapes at low cost whilst allowing efficient on-site handling and assembly, minimal ongoing maintenance and an expected design life in excess of 20 years.
