Ethernet Media Converter SL-OT100DG

Telways SL-OT100DG is a standalone 10/100Base-TX/FX media converter; SL-EC100G is a rack type of the media converter that can extend the transmission distance between two Fast Ethernet Twisted-pair devices via fiber cable transparently with no performance degradation. The OT-100D-GX is a versatile new model, which may either be placed in the chassis or used as a standalone type.

One rack system can equip maximum 15 slots of 10/100Base-T media converter modules without control function. In a multi-rack environment one master can control 195 links 10/100Base-T media converter modules. It can reduce the operation costs.

SL-EC100G has remotely monitoring and setting capability, and provides loopback function for self-diagnostic. Using Telways SNMP management systemÿ]UltraVistaÿ^, network administrators can easily set up, configure and monitor the whole rack systems, which are installed remotely in different locations.
SL-EC100G provides alarm status as Local/Remote TP link down, Fiber optic failure at transmission/ receiver port, card failure, Fan failure and Power failure.
OT-100D-GX is line cards which make use of a common PCB which may either be placed in the chassis or used as a standalong type.
