Energy saving single stage liquid centrifugal extraction

Liquid-liquid Centrifugal extraction machine, as a new fast and highly efficient liquid-liquid extraction separation equipment, is different from traditional extraction machine such as mixer settler, extraction tank. Centrifugal extraction machine uses motor driving drum to reach high speed, two liquids that different densities and mutually immiscible complete mixed under the shear force generated by the rotation of drum or blade, and separated rapidly under the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of drum.

New Liquid-liquid centrifuge is improved based on traditional centrifuges, mainly include two working process: mixing and separating.
Mixing Process
Two liquids that different densities enter the space between drum and shell, mixed and separated rapidly, and complete the liquid mixing.

Separating Process
Mixed liquid enter the space between drum and shell, rotating together with the drum, large density liquid run away from the drum center to drum wall while small density liquid run away from the drum wall to drum center under the centrifugal force, the extracted liquid enter collecting chamber from its weir plate and flow out from its exit.

Characteristic of Liquid-liquid centrifugal extractor
1.It Can work together with online cleaning system with GMP standard;
2.Top-Suspended structure, no bottom bearing in process area, no mechanical seal, no leakage risk, easy to maintain, and lower labor strength greatly; drum of centrifuge could find adjusting center of gravity during high speed rotation, to solve the steady operation issue.
3.Bearing: Equipment has not design mechanical seal, wear part, used SKF brand, steady operation, and the user just need to add lubricating grease in the bearing base 1-2times in a year, there is no need other extra maintenance.
4.Drum: it is the core part of this machine, to complete the leading-in of mixed liquor, centrifugal separation and leading-out of two phases of liquids after separation. Drum material should have good anti-corrosion property and higher mechanical strength.
5.A variety of mixed structures can be selected , applied to easily emulsifying system, mix thoroughly and high efficiency;
6.Automatic working, more capacity with lower consumption (1/3~1/10 power consumption of traditional extractor annular space type, at the same condition.);
7.Equipment’s material are perfluorinated polymer materials, corrosion resistance to strong sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, mixed acid. Suitable to intermittent and continuous working.
8.Mixed device: In order to lower power consumption greatly, and to ensure the mixed and mass transfer effect, we self-developed a new mixed device (patent number:2014202173566), This device can effectively prevent emulsification of the extraction system while increasing the single-stage extraction rate.
