Rubber: Density is one of rubber materials fundamental characteristics, and as rubber materials are made into different products, the formulation of macromolecular addition and the degree of vulcanization will be accordingly different. Density has mutual relationships with hardness, intensity of tension, ductility, wearing quality, transmutability, oiled inflation and so on. Except for its own characteristics, rubberü¬s physical appearance would be different because during the process of sulfur treatment, rubberü¬s density and volume will change according to the vulcanization degree. Thus testing the density of rubber is vital.
Plastic: High molecular compound. It can be divided into two types: thermosetting property and thermoplasticity.
Oil seal: Its aim is to prevent the oil leakage. The manufactures would measure the volume before and after the sample immersed in the fuel oil.
