Areca leaf plates are made from the shedded leaves of the Areca Palm Tree. The fallen Areca leaf is collected from the farms. The Shelton of the areca leaf cleaned and soaked in water for a particular time and later sun dried. They are then compressed to different shaped using the correspondingly shaped dies. These types of plates can be used to handle hot, wet and cold food items.
